Audra's Experience: abrasiveInk 2002-2011Artistic Director and Senior Graphic Designer As the artistic director, Audra supervised the branding strategy and the implementation of the visual identity for all of abrasiveInk's clients. As the senior graphic designer, Audra developed print campaigns and created award-winning online presences for the clients which enabled the extension of their brand identity into digital and interactive platforms. Audra also consulted in the areas of marketing strategy, social media, and business development. Throughout her tenure, Audra worked with over 250 clients both in Nashville and around the globe. abrasiveMedia2006-presentExecutive Director abrasiveMedia connects artists with the resources and people they need to take their ideas from conception to actualization. To date, abrasiveMedia has worked with over 300 artists through a variety of means such as showcases, brand counseling, business consulting, strategic plan development, marketing, networking, and project launches. Audra has over 20 years of experience in non-profit leadership roles. As Executive Director, has guided the growth of the organization from a small group of artists putting together gallery showings, through our present stage of extending our reach into the Nashville arts community, and is now directing our strategic plan to grow our organization from a grassroots, volunteer-ran entity to one with regional impact and fully-funded programming. Multi-disciplinary artist, public speakerVarious, 1998-present Audra's artistic background is in the performing, visual, and literary arts. She began in theater and quickly expanded to dance and vocal training. Throughout her career exhibiting, performing, exhibiting, speaking, and publishing her work she works to build unique juxtapositions in both concept and form, which reflects her own identity as a conditionally white-passing, multiracial, Native American with both visible and invisible disabilities. |
