CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

Alive Hospice is fortunate to have an active, astute Board of Directors. Our Board is made up of physicians, registered nurses, lawyers, financial planners, development professionals, and business owners. Board members bring to the agency a depth and breadth of expertise in their respective fields, and the agency has benefited tremendously from their guidance and leadership. While our full Board meets quarterly, much is accomplished in our Board committees. These committees include: Development, Ethics, Finance, Quality Council and Governance, as well as the Executive Committee. I feel that I, and the Executive Leadership Team, have received priceless professional mentoring by these talented Board members. It is rewarding to know that these professionals volunteer their time, talents and resources because they each have a fundamental belief in our mission and a desire to continue to improve end-of-life care in Middle Tennessee.
