CEO Statement

Residential Resources, Inc. is a provider of very valuable services to this community that unfortunately, not everyone knows exist. However, the organization is recognized by those in the housing industry and the program recipients for its excellence in service delivery. The organization is a nonprofit, U.S. Department of HUD C Comprehensive Housing Counseling agency and Community Housing Development Organization that began offering an array of housing related services in 1968. As of December 2018, we had assisted over eighteen thousand households with a wide array of housing needs. When it comes to housing, as the numbers reveal, we are not just about homeownership. And even though we want to assist as many people as possible, our mission is not quantitative. Our emphasis is on quality. We are about helping empower individuals, regardless of their housing status or goal, to understand the importance of financial stability by budgeting and better managing their resources; to understand the importance and impact of credit ratings and how to correct credit issues; sustain and safeguard investments; know what rights they have and what resources are available to them --especially safe and decent housing; how to rectify any existing housing problem; and how to maintain and sustain their homes. Our goal is to empower our clients with knowledge and dispel the vestiges of dependency by encouraging self-sufficiency though informed consumers. Board Chair Statement

I have served as Board Chair for the past 8 years and wish to reiterate my previous comments: Residential Resources, Inc. has continued to fill a pivotal need in this community for over fourteen years, with highly qualified and dedicated employees. It continues to amaze me of the quality and quantity resulting from their labor with such a small staff. The operation is running like a fine-tuned machine by just two people, which is even more astonishing when you consider that they average serving over 800 clients annually. I became aware of the agency while working in the banking industry and like the other members of the board, was drawn to want to be a part of the magnitude of what they do, hoping to augment their efforts, simply because of the very important impact they are having on this community in helping so many people to acquire and/or sustain decent and affordable housing."
