We have hired a paid consultant to work alongside our DEI committee to help us develop policies, practices, and messaging to increase the diversity of our board, staff, and participants, as well as develop policies that facilitate inclusion and equity once diverse individuals join the organization to ensure full participation and retention. The expectation is that this will include helping eliminate barriers to participation and identify blind spots within the organization. |
