Description
Rest Stop Ministries' holistic evidence-informed services establishes pathways to freedom for survivors, as evidenced by long-term safety, improved mental health, housing security, and economic empowerment, and prevents future sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in the United States. The 1-2 year residential program follows a housing-first model. RSM's restoration shelter is in a serene residential community providing all the comforts of home: personal bedroom space, beautiful community living space, nutritious meals, clothing and basic necessities, transportation, and a loving, supportive environment. The program addresses a comprehensive continuum of survivor-centered trauma-informed care, including a workforce empowerment curriculum, and ongoing support after graduation. RSM's staff includes an in-house therapist credentialed and experienced in treating sexual trauma, a live-in residential manager, and a full-time social worker who provides individualized case management.
