Description
The Cambodian outreach team has been inspired by serving alongside the medical team from the U.S., and has launched this program to help local people by running medical clinics, trainings, and children's programs in Cambodia and Myanmar. The team is comprised of local individuals who serve as translators, medical professionals, and volunteers for Freedom's Promise. This group of Cambodian leaders meets monthly to evaluate progress of the mobile medical clinics, and to encourage each other in their efforts to serve Christ through their various professions.

Our focus in each of these programs is to strengthen the community in order that individuals may thrive, and be protected against all forms of trafficking and exploitation. These programs contain education initiatives, income generation opportunities, spiritual leadership, human trafficking awareness training, and health education on disease prevention and nutrition.

| Freedom's Promise has an incredible mission to prevent human trafficking and child exploitation. We are dedicated in our fight against these atrocities and are blessed to have staff, volunteers, and a board that is committed. We value input and growth opportunities and are in an exciting stage of development both organizationally and within our communities. As many organizations involved with international work can attest to, we do have challenges that arise. We deal with a culture that is very different than ours in the terms of religion, dress, family values, etc. We are also reliant on good communication. Partnership Opportunities: Our financial partners are involved in incredible opportunities both in SE Asia and here locally! Partnership is truly that, a way to collaborate in this fight against human trafficking and child exploitation by providing resources for prevention work through community development programs. Please consider the amount that you are able to give. Volunteer Raise awareness: Include FP in an awareness opportunity with your local church, school, community group, etc. These awareness events bring the dark subject of human trafficking to light by engaging participants in local and international issues. Become a prayer partner: As we walk through the struggles involved with such a dark subject we value our prayer warriors! It is amazing what the covering of prayer can do for us as an organization and for those who are on the grounds fighting daily.
