Renee's Experience: Renee Boehm is a native Nashvillian who serves as the Director of the Dickson County Help Center. Renee overcame many hardships growing up, including being a teenage mother of two. Through hard work and determination, she has transformed her life and now helps those most vulnerable populations. Since 2005, Renee set a goal to use her life story, her love for Jesus and her community to make a difference. Over the years she has been involved in the Dickson County Health Council, GFWC Dickson Women's Club, Dickson County Ministerial Fellowship, Road Riders for Jesus Motorcycle Ministry, Dickson County National Day of Prayer, as well as still being active in Dickson Lions Club, Dickson High Noon Rotary, Tennessee Nutrition Consumer Education Program (TNCEP), Dickson County Veterans Coalition, Women's Exchange Radio Program, Making A Difference Monday Radio Program, Dickson County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, United Way of Dickson County, Leadership Dickson County plus she partners with numerous local nonprofits and organizations in an effort to better serve those struggling in Dickson County. Mike and Renee Boehm are the proud parents of four children and have four grandchildren. Both of Renee's adult children have received their college education, the first to do so in her family. They, along with their young daughter, Nevaeh, reside in Charlotte, attend Dickson First Baptist Church and enjoy spending time with their family. |

CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
Our Board of Directors and Executive Director are working together over the next year to evaluate and update our current Administrative Policy & Procedures Manuel, as well as developing a Conflict of Interest Policy. We are also working on our Management Succession and Fundraising with the help of classes offered at Center for Nonprfit Management and appointed committees. We are also completing our 3 year Strategic Planning session in August 2018. |
