Description
The Shalom Foundation's Medical Program serves children from across Guatemala, changing their lives forever. Through The Moore Pediatric Surgery Center in Guatemala City, The Shalom Foundation provides a modern medical facility to serve as home base for visiting medical and pediatric surgical teams to provide free-of-charge surgeries to the impoverished children of Guatemala. Shalom's Medical Program addresses the desperate medical and health needs of poor children in Guatemala. Shalom Medical and Surgical Teams provide treatment that is financially and socially out of reach for acutely poor children. Collaboration with medical organizations in both the United States and Guatemala is key to the success of the Medical Program. Medical Teams supported by Children's Hospitals and other recognized medical organizations across the United States are invited to work with The Shalom Foundation to serve these needy children.
