Mark's Experience: Mr. Wright has 24+ years of experience in the construction industry. He has an AAS degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. He is the Vice President of 12 Stones Development Corporation. As the executive director of Be a Helping Hand, he has acquired, negotiated and managed over 40 projects, construction loans, and permanent financing to the amount of over 7 million in CHDO, THDA, CITC, NSP, and Bank financing funding. Mr. Wright has been extensively involved in helping the community. He is the former Chairman and former President of The New Level Community Development Corporation and is a current Budget and Finance Committee Member; the former Chairman and former President of The Neighborhoods Resource Center where during his tenure was able to pull the organization up from the brink of closure to become a thriving resource now serving communities throughout Nashville. He is the former Chairman and former President of the Historic Buena Vista Association and was able to secure generous grants which provided crosswalks, decorative lighting, boundary signs, historic street signs, and a median; former Chairman of the Personnel Committee for the NAACP, and the Co-Chair for the MDHA Scovel Street Advisory Committee; former member of the Nashville Electric Service Diversity Board; former member of the Youth About Business organization for 17 years, and is a mentor for the program. |
