CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
COOP is primarily volunteer- based and funded through members contributions, generous supporter donations, and Metro Arts Nashville grants. Our core mission, defined at COOP's inception over a decade ago, remains: to share high quality and diverse exhibitions and programming, enriching Nashville's culture. We ambitiously are expanding our programming, which requires strategic use of financial resources. In addition to our exhibitions, our other outreach and engagement initiatives include: artist led workshops, winter fire pits, makers' markets, artists' talks, critique nights, and our internship program. All exhibitions and programming promote open and inclusive social gatherings. |
Foundation Staff Comments
This organization filed a 990-N form with the IRS, which does not provide specific financial information. Most small tax-exempt organizations whose annual gross receipts are normally $50,000 or less ($25,000 for tax years ending after December 31, 2007 and before December 31, 2010) are required to electronically submit Form 990-N, also known as the e-Postcard, unless they choose to file a complete Form 990 or Form 990-EZ instead.
