CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

New Dialect's ability to provide programming-and thereby earn income-has been significantly challenged by the COVID-19 heath crisis. In response, operational expenses were strategically decreased during FY21, largely through a decrease in professional fees. Simultaneously, our organization was able to secure emergency financial support via municipal, state, and federal funding programs, while annual contributions remained at or near pre-pandemic levels. As a result, we closed FY21and FY22 in strong financial standing with net cash reserves. These funds continue to provide a firm footing for our organization to build our programming back up to pre-pandemic strength as restrictions ease going forward, and we return to performing and touring in FY23. New Dialect continues to have no debt.
