Description
My Father's House Nashville - Community-Driven Responses to Opioid Use Disorder and Overdose Mortality/Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE) - This this program My Father's House Nashville (MFHN) will expand services for fathers with opioid use disorder who are making the transition from incarceration or homelesness to treatment and are at increased risk of drug overdose. Respite care will be provided for individuals waiting to transition to residential care who are at high risk for overdose. MFHN will build on its relationship with the Elam Mental Health Center (EMHC) at Meharry Medical College, to offer respite care for people with substance use disorder who are waiting for a treatment bed at EMHC or another facility. MFHN aims to provide services to 240 men per year between March 2023 and March 2025.

My Father's House Nashville will provide the fathers and partners of the Mending Heart's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administation (SAMHSA funded) Pregnant and Postpartum women program entitled Mending Rainbows, with peer delivered, evidence-based and parenting interventions delivered by staff. Timeframe: September 2022 through September 2027
