CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
The Successes governing our organization as a whole revolves around having each program grow in participant number every season, as well as having a high percentage of returning participants. The successes at the individual program level center on making sure that the fundamentals of each sport are properly taught, as well as each child is having fun while learning them. Challenges in regards to our programs center on the increase in cost for maintenance of the fields and facilities we use and well as the recent increase in requests for financial assistance, presenting us with the problem of keeping registration costs as low as possible even when our expenses are increasing. Another challenge with all of programs is making sure a 'love of the game' attitude is being instilled in all participants compared to a 'winning at all cost' attitude that the league does not support. |
