CC's Experience: CC Wheeler serves as the Executive Director, and previously was the Program Director for the Montgomery County Veterans Coalition. After working in the broadcast media field for 20 years, including nine years as a local on-air radio personality, Mrs. Wheeler transitioned to the non-profit sector in 2017, working with domestic violence survivors and the homeless. She served as a Domestic Violence Advocate, Rural Sexual Assault and Abuse Advocate, Program Director for a transitional living facility for homeless families with children, and Executive Director of a three program umbrella non-profit. Before becoming employed by the Coalition, CC was a member, then a volunteer. She is a member of the United for Housing Committee, the Housing Affordability Taskforce, and an alumnus of Citizen's Police Academy. |
