Description
Our ten-week cooperative entrepreneurship courses bring together first-time entrepreneurs with experts in various aspects of business. Students enroll with a cooperative business in some stage of development-an idea, partially formed business, or fully incorporated business-and leave with essentials like a financial model, marketing plan, and business model canvas. We run co-op academy twice a year.
SEC4CD has made a concerted effort in the past year to offer various training events with Spanish/English live interpretation as well as materials (handouts, workbooks, and Powerpoint slides) translated into Spanish. This has been done in partnership with a local worker's center, Worker's Dignity, that works with mainly immigrant populations and with members of the Nashville Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Third Eye Trucking-a recently incorporated logistics business owned and run by three worker-owners.
