Mission

EAC encourages each student to be well-rounded and attain his highest level of accomplishment as a scholar, and above all, as a conscientious and responsible individual. Using each student's strength and interest as a starting point, our travel abroad experience will take students out of their comfort zones and expand their horizons.

Background

The Educational Advancement Center for Boys is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization focused on providing a travel abroad experience as an educational component for students that show a strong interest in strengthening creativity and cultural intelligence.

Impact

Traveling abroad is one of the best educational experiences any young student can have. It allows our students to immerse themselves in a foreign language, appreciate different cultures, and boost their confidence by getting outside their comfort zones.

Needs

It's our long term goal to provide any high school students who live in Nashville, Tennessee and has aspirations to travel abroad, make that dream become a reality. The average cost to travel abroad range $2500-$3500. "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our students need it sorely on those accounts." Mark Twain

CEO Statement

If each student is to reach his potential, he must, through all of the opportunities available at EAC, gain some degree of self knowledge and confidence, as well as an appreciation of his own self worth.

Board Chair Statement

It's imperative that our parents are involved and hands on with the overall development of each student. Students will set realistic goals and collaborate with our staff and their family members. Our long-term approach means helping each student make academic and personal choices that will maximize their opportunities and secure their future.
