Description
Youth showcases offered 4-6 times per year for participants 5-18 years old. Primarily music, however we work to include anyone who wishes to participate. Rehearsal period is 4-6 weeks prior to performances.
Program Successes
Specific case of one participant who has been with the program since 2015:
Participant came to the program as a shy, insecure 7th grade girl. Over the years, she has "come out of her shell" and has become confident and a leader within the group. Although now in college, she still participates in adult projects, and works backstage/behind the scenes with the youth program. She credits The Gift of Song with helping her get through some difficult times in her life.
