We are creating more educational opportunities for people to learn our regenerative farming practices. One way we are doing this is through piloting a program called EFT: Expereintial Farming Training.
Experiential Farming Training (EFT): "Hands in the Dirt"
This program trains people on how to use regenerative methods to grow nutrient dense food, manage weeds and insects without using harmful pesticides or damaging Tennessee waterways. The learning objective is focused on experiential methods, hands on experience where people learn how to use sustainable practices to grow food. Volunteers who train with FBF for a growing season on a consecutive basis will learn the basic skills necessary to start their own gardens and grow their own food.
