Description
Within this program, we work to furnish and decorate the living spaces of individuals referred by our partners. These individuals are often recovering addicts or domestic abuse survivors who have a second chance at life. Once these individuals complete the rehabilitation programs of our partners, they become eligible for an apartment, home, or townhome redesign for a nominal fee. Oftentimes, these fees are paid for by the organization they graduated from.
Program Successes
Project Redesign was able to play a part in one woman being reunited with her children in 2017. After the DCS visited the woman's home, her last criteria to get her children back was to have a stable home that was adequately furnished. On her own, she never would have been able to afford beds, couches, tables, dishes, shower curtains, bedding and more. Project Redesign was able to step in and provide these items for her, which gave her the last push towards reuniting with her little ones.

Long-term Success
We have provided hundreds of redesigns over the years and have seen recipients go on to renew their leases year after year. Project Redesign is proud to help its recipients create a sustainable living environment.

In the last two years, we have seen a 20% increase in redesigns due to new partnerships and an increased demand for installs from existing partners.
