Tennessee Nature Academy operates Middle Tennessee's first nature-based public charter school. Drawing students from the most diverse zip code in Tennessee, TNA provides a full continuum of services to support all learners-- including a Special Education, English Language Learner, and Section 504 program. TNA's unique pedagogical methodology allows students to engage in content in a real and active manner. Student learning at TNA takes place in traditional classrooms indoors, but also spills outside to its natural campus on a daily basis. TNA students frequently engage in projects related to conservation, agriculture, and natural resource management.
