Description
Southeast Community Day is an annual celebration of the diverse cultures of Antioch and Southeast Nashville. We have multi-cultural food, music, art and give away 1500 pre-packed backpacks for back to school. Many of the residents of Antioch and Southeast Nashville do not have access to going downtown for cultural activities such as the ballet or the symphony. This event allows us to bring those performances to our community and provide an educational opportunity..
Program Successes
Our first year, we had over 3,000 attendees and gave away 1200 backpacks. We raised $50,000 in sponsorships.
