ShareBuilt Inc
Programs
Budget
$30,000.00
Description
Recruiting, training and deploying a group of seasoned design and construction professionals who volunteer their time to coach and guide nonprofits through the process of design and construction for their buildings and facilities.
Program Successes
The Refuge center for counseling was seeking to hire an owners representative for which they had no budget. Through engaging with ShareBuilt they have been able to avoid that cost while at the same time using their existing staff to manage the project with the guidance and support of a ShareBuilt project shepherd. This is a savings of at least $240,000 for this $12,000,000 project.
Beneficiaries
General Public
Christians
Veterans
Long-term Success
Many nonprofits organizations are able to plan and execute their construction projects far more efficiently because they have received professional guidance at no cost to them. This allows them to keep more or their revenue from their support base directly focused on their core mission rather than on planning and constructing a building which they are not equipped to tackle.
Short-term Success
We will deploy 10 project shepherds in middle Tennessee allowing us to meet the strong demand for help from nonprofit clients without turning and away.
Program Success Monitored By
Feedback from clients as we provide project shepherds to coach them. Results are seen in accurate project budgets, increased bidder participation, and effective communication of project goals and needs to those the nonprofit client is requesting support from.
Program Areas Served
Middle Tennessee initially but ultimately regionally as nonprofit clients have needs. Project shepherds can advise remotely for many nonprofit clients

Budget
$6,000.00
Description
This is a monthly meet up where our volunteer project managers, our nonprofit clients, and our Architecture, Engineering and Construction Sharing Partners meet to discuss current industry needs and issues. Each client will be able to share their design project story, needs and status. We will be able to foster collaborative relationships between those in need and the AEC partners who can complete the work.
Program Successes
If a local nonprofit representative shares they are embarking on a capital campaign and need referrals for general contractors, all the way down to specific trade providers, they would be able to meet and network with these providers. A success would be they eventually save money on their overall building project as a result of meeting providers at our gatherings.

TrackVia is the database by which nonprofit clients and architecture, engineering and contractor partners enter into formal agreement including agreeing on project terms and conditions and the formal job contract for any building or renovation project.
Program Successes
An example of program success would be a seamless workflow. It would begin by a nonprofit looking for help filling out a form on our website. After a follow up conversation with staff, their project information (or story) would be entered into the TrackVia system. Each identified need (contractor, trade industry partner) would be contacted by automatic email, sent from TrackVia. Multiple bids would be offered on the project. The nonprofit client would be able to determine the best offer on the work and enter into contract, overall saving time and money on the project through the use of our system.
Beneficiaries

Long-term Success
