| YOLONDA's Experience: Working with youth can be rewarding and challenging. When working with youth, I understand the importance of exemplifying respect and patience, as young people often need more life experience and may respond differently than adults. Cultivating an environment of trust is important, and mutual respect is vital so young people can work together effectively and productively. When working with youth, it is essential to understand their developmental stage and adopt an approach that young people receive. Additionally, The Beech Firm Foundation will provide age-appropriate activities that engage learners and help them positively express their thoughts and feelings. My experience working with youth has taught me that consistent support is vital to their success. |
