Women of Color Collaborative
Programs
Budget
$20,000.00
Description
Designed to affirm the personhood and lived experiences of women of color, our flagship program, the Collaborative Cohort, brings together women across generations and industries, providing a safe space for them to grow together. The Collaborative Cohort is a demonstrated approach to WOCC's theory of change. Through seminars, collaboration sessions, journaling, and skill shares, our identity-centric curriculum helps Collaborators map issues from root cause to probable intervention, addressing problems Black women face and feeding communal curiosity to create a healthier, more equitable future. In the Cohort, Collaborators are the idea generators, hypothesis testers, researchers, participants, and outcome evaluators, using their learning and resources from the seminars to bring their ideas to life, showcasing their unique magic for the benefit of their community.
