Program Successes
" Since the age of 9 I've loved doing hair. I realized as I grew older the main reason that I enjoyed doing it was because I loved to see the smile on someone's face once I completed their style. In 2016 I was sentenced to 13 years in prison and I signed up for the cosmetology class. During that time I didn't know what to expect, I just knew I wanted to be a stylist. I met Ms. Kinslow and she has been a blessing every since we would have long talks quite often which was something different for me because I don't really let people in but her spirit was different. I would get mad at her one day then love her the next like nothing happened I knew then she would be around for a lifetime because we shared a 'family' type of bond! I didn't cross paths with her for nothing and I realized pretty quick why GOD made sure that he placed her in my presence. Her purpose in my life was to push me, to help me see my full potential. Now, I serve as a volunteer for Resurrection Ministries."
