Description
We provide high quality, extended learning opportunities each day after school for K-8 students. We concentrate programming on academics, performing arts, and spiritual development to develop value-guided leaders who will impact their communities and the world. We typically serve low to moderate income families, but all families have access to our programming. We are located in the Edgehill neighborhood and primarily serve students who attend Edgehill-zoned schools. Most students come from Carter Lawrence, Eakin, Waverly-Belmont, and Fall-Hamilton elementary schools, and Rose Park Magnet and J.T. Moore middle schools.

We offer a six-week daily summer camp that culminates in a musical theater performance. We operate this program at low or no cost for up to 75 students ages 6 through 17. We also hire individuals to coordinate lighting and play live music for the performances. We partner with a local university to use their theater. he students in our program have a variety of academic levels, backgrounds and skill sets. We have students who return every year and c

Description
In late 2022, we collaboratively established The Training Collective with partner organizations in order to elevate and standardize professional development for out-of-school time professionals. Our ability to offer quality youth development relies upon well-prepared, consistently trained youth development professionals. The challenge that we face, along with many of our peer organizations, is the dearth of appropriate development opportunities for professionals who engage with children during out-of-school times. In partnership with multiple peer organizations, we have decided to launch The Training Collective.
