| Better Decisions is a women's program serving a women's population. The board, volunteers and staff of BD are all women who are or have been directly involved with program delivery. While this has been a source of strength to our volunteers and students, we welcome support and insight from others. Given our minimal overhead, no office to lease and just one part-time staff salary, we have become a lean and efficient organization. New for FY20 - we are seeking Board Members. After thirty-plus years as a singular entity serving corrections-based populations, my sincere hope and vision is that we expand to become of greater service to more women in need, women who are disadvantaged, who have been marginalized, who have been kept from reaching their full potential as Tennesseans.
