Description
Agriculture Programming for Anyone. LET'S GROW TOGETHER! Provide hands-on opportunities to learn about plant life cycles, anatomy, science behind how plants grow and create sustainable food sources for food deserts & underserved communities.
Program Successes
Any Size Gardens developed the agricultural summer program in 2024, Fresh Access Project. The Fresh Access Project is an educational workbook designed to educate youth about urban food deserts, importance of soil, plant profile and cycle, and FARM2TABLE. Hands-on experience is available through the program, from planting vegetables in planters that youth are able to take home, installing raised garden beds, and cooking classes using coming garden ingredients. Programming Days: July 23 - 24, 2024. Programming Attendance: 20 youth.
