Description
One of the core pillars of the Preservation Society of Nashville's work is advocacy. We truly believe that broad-scale, impactful, and lasting preservation change will happen in City Hall and in board rooms sitting across from developers and property owners. Follow our key advocacy work through through our advocacy tracker. We work with property owner and developer relations, as well as facilitate community conversations with Metro Council members. We are about to provide transparency in the public process for Planning Commission and Metro Council approvals. In our work we provide preservation recommendations to property owners that can range from facade, materials, to ways of honoring a location or buildings history.
