| Heather's Experience: B.A. in Sociology from Illinois Wesleyan University and Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Prior to her tenure at TKF, Heather was the development and communications director at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville for 10 years. She has been an active member of Planned Giving Council of Middle Tennessee and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, serving several years on the AFP board and as co-chair of the annual National Philanthropy Day event. Heather is also active in the Nashville community, represented TKF on the Mayor's Transit and Affordability Task Force in 2017, and has deep ties to many community groups and organizations, especially in the South Nashville. She serves on the Board of Directors for The New Beginnings Center and was a 2018 recipient of the Nashville Business Journal 40 under 40 awards. | |
