Description
The annual Tennessee Local Food Summit is our pinnacle event of the year, providing networking opportunities and in-depth educational sessions on sustainable agriculture and strategies to build a more resilient local food system for middle Tennessee.
Our conference attendance is about 50% small farmers, and 50% community and home gardeners, and other people working in our food system or interested in supporting the local food movement.
Each conference hosts 45+ speakers, 25-35 educational sessions, community building opportunities, locally sourced meals, a vendor trade show, and additional activities such as seed swaps and community art projects focused on food and agriculture. This is a space for existing working groups to meet, and emerging working groups to form. This is an annual gathering of new and familiar community members who are passionate about building an equitable food system for our community.
