Description
The Youth Company currently works with Youth grades 7 - 12 in the area of performing arts with a theatre focus. There is a Fall Session and a Spring Session. It meets every Thursday evening from 6:30 - 8:30. Exercises and activities are used to teach stage presence, public speaking, team building, communication, and many other life skills necessary for the future of each student. Included in the program are two live performances, a retreat, a talent showcase, and guest instructors. Along with the life skills being taught, the students are also learning the basics of theatre which include and are not limited to: staging, prop building, make-up, lighting, audio, costuming and much more. In 2014 we added The Junior Company for grades 4-6. This program functions just like the older group but on a lower level to accommodate this age group. It too meets in the fall and then the spring. In addition to The Youth Company and The Junior Company, we have added The Little Company for grades 1-3. Again, this program functions just like the older groups but on a lower level to accommodate this age group. They too meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00.

| We have a concern for the amount of storage units that we have to pay monthly rent. We are still in need of storage. We have secured a weekly rehearsal location and we have also secured a performance location at a local theater. We are grateful! |
