| Our challenge is to develop new board members that diversify demographics culturally and in skill sets. We continue taking studied approach to develop new board members to better represent our clientele's cultural diversity and our need for a plurality of specific professional skill sets. We are currently cultivating new board members with identified access to support options for programming and skill sets based on strategic goals. We paused, but hope to re-initiate discussion with one other non-profit to implement a board member exchange model that would help with our strategic goal of cultural diversification of our board. We have diversified the artistic staff of MET Singers with the the Associate director who is a MET Alumni, a Fisk Jubilee Singers alumnus and music educator in MNPS. |
