Melony's Experience: Melony Pugh-Weber, along with Jim Weber, co-founded Touchstone Youth Resource Services, Inc. in 1987. She took on the position of Executive Director for Touchstone at the beginning of 2011. Melony is a Christian counselor, small group leader, youth worker and gifted speaker on topics for teens and parents. In late 2003, Melony helped create Touchstone's award-winning initiative - CiViL, which builds the social and emotional assets proven to aid a young person's success in life. Melony has helped build CiViL from an idea to a reality that serves hundreds of students. Most of Melony's Christian counseling work has been with adolescent and young adult women. She has served as a speaker to youth and adults all over the country. Melony reports to Touchstone's Board of Directors, and has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the staff, programs, expansion, and execution of Touchstone's mission.

The success of Touchstone's award-winning initiative - CiViL, which builds the social and emotional assets proven to aid a young person's success in life, has created the need for a full-time position for Director of CiViL. The Director of CiViL will begin to build partnerships in new markets, establish relationships with funders, and political and community leaders at each current and future CiViL chapter location. This director will also oversee CiViL's local and national presence and communicate program results with an emphasis on the successes of the local program as a model for regional and national replication.
