CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
The Cooper Trooper Foundation was a 100% volunteer based organization until August of 2013 when the foundation hired it's first part time employee. This decision was made after the death of our co-founder Rod Cook to help with the day to day operations so that Missy could focus on the boys during this tough season of transition at the loss of her husband and the boys' dad. Due to the growth of the foundation, CTF was in a position to hire a part time employee with no adverse impact on the financial status of the programs of the foundation. An additional part time employee was needed to coordinate and oversee the operations with our Courage Kit program for siblings. In October of 2021, the Board voted and approved a salary for the Executive Director, who had been managing the foundation since 2009 without any compensation. |
