CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
Our major challenges continue to be transportation and communication. We are anticipating that the success of our SSP Project previously discussed will help with both of these challenges. We will still have to raise the money to pay for interpreters and to help with gas when the individual who is deaf-blind cannot pay for gas. Fundraising continues to be a challenge. We continue to need a secretary, a treasurer, and a person skilled in fundraising. We also need to find more young people who are deaf-blind. They are our future and we are all about giving them the tools and opportunities to make their future more productive, enjoyable and less isolated. |
