Description
Projects under this program include the Regional Special Needs Expo, Town Hall Seminars, participation in Family Engagement events in the school district, school board candidate interviews for voter education, and other informational events. We have published a local resource directory on our website that includes over 20 pages of disability resources and have budgeted this year to make this directory in hardcopy to be available at local agencies and offices to make information more accessible to underserved populations.

Our clients often give us feedback that they have found informational events helpful and that they have gotten information they would not have had otherwise.

We are working on a program that partners with agencies that are presents within the school system to provide adaptive clothing to students in need.

This new program aims to increase the level of inclusion that students with disabilities have within the school system by providing adaptive clothing that is specific to their needs alongside clothing that is dispersed to typical peers.
