Mark's Experience: Serving ten years as the head of Oasis Center's development team and special projects, Mark Dunkerley has demonstrated a strong track record of effective leadership and meaningful community engagement. A Nashville native, Mark holds an MBA from Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in human and organizational development from Vanderbilt University. He has dedicated his expertise in organizational development to not only strengthen our agency's financial foothold but also broaden our impact on the community. Under Mark's leadership, Oasis Center co-created the Key Action Plan--Nashville's first coordinated community-wide effort to prevent and end youth homelessness. Thanks to the work of the Key group, we secured the federal award of the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Project, infusing $1.7 million in annual funds to strengthen the supports for young people experiencing homelessness in Nashville. As President and CEO, Mark will continue to move Oasis Center forward through strategic advancements focused on helping us more positively impact the youth and families we serve. |
