CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments

Davis House Child Advocacy Center is a warm, welcoming place where abused children and their families in crisis can receive all of the help, support and services that they need to begin the healing process. We also provide many types of community education from brochures to presentations for any groups requesting such information, so that we may combat child abuse through prevention and early intervention. In the 20 years since the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center first opened, we have continually expanded our services and our service area. Our first year in existence we saw 61 clients in Williamson County. Last year, we provided almost 3,500 services to 928 new clients. In addition to serving the needs of Williamson County, we are also providing services for the entire 21st Judicial District - Hickman, Lewis and Perry Counties. Case management, forensic interviews, counseling, victim advocacy, community education programs, resource library, kids court orientation, and adopt-a-bear are just some of the services that we now provide. It is our goal to continue to expand services and to meet all of the needs of the children and their families in crisis. We have increased our counseling schedule in Hohenwald, Centerville and in Franklin. Through the expanded programs and increasing demand for our services in the community, we also need a larger facility in Williamson County in the next 1-2 years. We opened a new Center location in Centerville in early 2016. We have an outstanding Board of Directors, dedicated staff, and enthusiastic volunteers all deeply committed to and passionate about our mission. We look forward to continuing to positively impact the lives of children and families in need of our services.
