CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
As we have expanded our housing and mental health services through a partnership with Children and Family Services and Connecting Forward, this past year has been all about partnerships and diversifying our staff and our board to reflect the population we live in and the population we serve. We have set the intention, and allowed people who were organically passionate about what we do enter our lives. We have made strides in that regard, but there is more work to do. I believe that no man can exist in a silo and no organization can either. Strengthening our relationships in the community, and bringing awareness to the obstacles that people experiencing homelessness encounter is the ONLY way to bring lasting change. |
