CEO/Executive Director/Board Comments
At this time, the N.O.O.K. has been operational and serving clients for slightly over two years. We are very proud that in this short amount of time that we have written by-laws, established a board, built financials, secured donated warehouse space, recruited and trained 25+ volunteers, and raised over $30,000 in cash and in-kind contributions. Our volunteers on call average of 5-6 calls per week from school nurses, social workers and counselors. Requested items delivered consist of some combination of new shoes, socks, underwear, clothing, coats, basic hygiene and feminine hygiene as well as often fuel cards and food for the family. |
