| Betsy's Experience: Ms. Betsy Jackson has been named executive director of the Tennessee State University Foundation. She comes to foundation with more than 15 years of experience in advancement operations. She established the advancement services departments for both Spelman College and Bethune-Cookman University. As the director of advancement services, Ms. Jackson was responsible for gift accounting, stewardship, database management, and prospect development. Ms. Jackson received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama and her MBA degree from the University of Mississippi. She has served as a presenter at the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement International Conference a and the Kresge Foundation HBCU Initiative Prospect Research Conference. | |
