Mission

The mission for Corrine's Place Of Love is commitment to providing a respite space for single women with/without children who may be experiencing homelessness or a life crisis by designing an immediate temporary housing program for up to a 8 week basis.

Background

Who is Corrine's Place of Love? We are 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization located in the Davidson County region of Nashville Tennessee. Nashville is the Home of Country Music offering several attractions for tourism.
While Nashville continues to grow at a rapid pace with new business the population continues to grow along with that causing a change in the financial stability of families. With changes as such the increase in homelessness has grown also due to situations that may not have been preventable.
I created CPOL from my own personal experience. Being once homeless myself I understand the need to have somewhere to go when all seems lost. CPOL is going to be that place for others.
CPOL stands on the word with faith learning on the understanding which allows us to minister to the community through temporary housing for up to 8 weeks. We will assist with enrolling with healthcare, food stamps, and assisting with job search by providing access to computers. We will also offer spiritual guidance and everyday living teachings as an additional tool. We will offer child care for working mothers. We will be connecting families to outreach services.

Impact

Corrine's Place of love is just now starting so it doesn't have any accomplishment but does have goals. Our goal is to be able to house unsheltered women with/without children. The other goal is to be able to extend to men with/without children as well. Also to be able to provide daycare as well.The

Needs

The first major need is a building, finances, volunteers, and management. Corrines Place of love is looking at a dollar amount of at 30,000.

CEO Statement

What makes Corrine's Place of Love different is because it's an immediate, temporary 8 weeks program. Where most places has a long waiting least and is a transitional living. Also we're not charging any fees and once up and running we'll be able to provide daycare in the program.

Board Chair Statement

Since Corrine's Place of Love is just now coming into fruition there's no success as of right now. I can say the challenge is being able to fund the nonprofit and pay the staff.
