Description
We connect educators across schools and systems to learn together faster, leveraging a diversity of perspectives. Through consistent and accessible opportunities to learn together, teachers access the resources, skills, and community they need to be more successful in serving their learners. Whether "bite-sized" professional learning sessions (30 minute virtual practical workshops!) or day-long, in person collaboratives, we leverage the diversity of perspectives present and provide space to develop new or improved solutions. Participants note how relevant and useful the content is to their settings, and our audience continues to grow.

Description
The aim of the DLC Teacher Leader Fellowship is to increase the success of diverse learners by empowering and equipping teacher leaders to lead change within their classrooms and schools. Engaging in a year-long fellowship program, Teacher Leaders develop both technical and leadership skills to enact change for the diverse learners they serve. Fellows participate in a three day summer professional development session, quarterly professional development sessions, one-on-one leadership coaching, peer mentor groups, and cohort events. During the Fellowship year, each fellow will design and implement an impact project on their respective campus.
Program Successes
Through three cohorts of Fellows (64 total), teacher leaders continue to rate their experience highly in improving their practice with diverse learners (4.9/5) and increasing their capacity to lead building-level change (4.7/5). After participation in the yearlong fellowship experience, one fellow noted, "The DLC support equipped me with strategies and ideas that I would not have had access to otherwise. Diverse learners at my school greatly benefited from my work with the DLC, and I'm so thankful for all that it provided to my practice." Another fellow said, "I've never felt so inspired and heard through a group of educators that really 'get it!' This is by far the best professional growth experience I've ever had."

Description
All of our schools and their learners are diverse, and our School Partnerships reflect this. With each school or organizational partner, we first identify gaps in learner access and define a shared goal of success in closing this gap. We support school partners in identifying and implementing best practices for meeting the needs of diverse learners. This support is custom to the school's context, but is most often a combination of professional workshops and training, leader coaching, resource development, and system consultation. We measure progress throughout the partnership according to our initial shared definition of success, revise plans, and celebrate diverse learner successes.
Program Successes
One school leader commented, "The DLC has made us a stronger team. The resources and support are things that I personally would not have been able to provide my team with, and now they have them. In providing those resources, we now have stronger teachers, which leads to putting stronger content information in front of our kids or following through with behavior plans of higher quality." Another executive director said, "Your aerial understanding of the global, national, regional and local educational landscape was most helpful because you understand the larger picture and use that knowledge to help create granular plans and solutions that can help us on a school-wide, content-specific level. DLC supports helped us forward plan while make real-time adjustments."
Long-term Success
As a result of the DLC's partnership, school teams will be better equipped to meet the needs of diverse learners and the educators who serve them. This will be seen in higher achievement scores for diverse learners and increased teacher retention rates across Tennessee.
Short-term Success
We have partnered with more than 70 schools to build team capacity to serve all learners. This year, we will initiate or expand partnership with at least 6 new-to-DLC partners (<2 years as DLC partners) across Tennessee. School partners will rate value of partnership in increasing team capacity to serve all learners at least 4+ on 5 point scale.
Program Success Monitored By
While the measures of impact will vary depending the specifics of the partnership, some general measures of impact include: (1) Monitoring student achievement data including TN Ready scores, school-wide universal screeners, and other growth assessments. (2) Compare school-wide processes from before and after DLC partnership. (3) Increased teacher feelings of efficacy, confidence, agency, and belonging, as well as retention from year to year.
