Description
The Lullaby Project, an initiative of Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute, pairs mothers and fathers with professional artists to create and sing their own personal lullabies for their babies, with the goal of improving child and maternal health and attachment. Description
Intersection challenges the traditional concert experience through performances in unexpected venues and by working with collaborative partners to incorporate other elements such as film, dance, lighting, projections, and spoken word into performances.

Intersection brings both established and up-and-coming composers to Nashville to work with musicians and engage audiences. Intersection has hosted composers including Hannibal Lokumbe, Joel Thompson, Tina Tallon, Chen Yi and Pulitzer Prize-winners Julia Wolfe and Zhou Long.

Intersection uses contemporary music in an intentional way to bring forward new and unique voices, build community, and engage in dialogue. Programs have engaged topics such as race and social justice, environmental conservation, and gender identity. Intersection has worked with dozens of community partners to reach new audiences, increase our community impact, and engage youth in our educational programs.
