Description
This is a regular weekly volunteer day. We host individuals and groups to help us plant and maintain the garden beds.

Long-term Success
We hope to impact our neighbors' access to fresh and nutritious food and to build their skills to be able to grow and harvest this food for themselves. We also hope to build community relationships through growing and sharing food together.
Short-term Success
Volunteer days teach community members about plants, nutrition, harvesting, gardening, and the importance of local food production. Volunteers have an opportunity to get their hands dirty and develop gardening skills.

Counting the number of people who attend, follow up surveys asking participants to provide feedback on their experience

We will do a community survey to determine what fruit and vegetables that people like to eat so the garden can plant more of those, and also grow seedlings to distribute for neighbors to plant in their yards. We aim to be community-driven in what the garden produces.
