Description
This is the main basis of our organization. Through this program, we fulfill needs for children involved in the foster care system. A majority of the items are donated to our organization. NFLC accepts new and gently used items.
These needs can include, but are not limited to the following:
- clothing
- shoes
- toiletries
- diapers
- wipes
- bedroom furniture
- toys, board games, and puzzles
- baby gear

Description
This program focuses on serving foster parents. Across the United States, 30%-50% of foster parents quit within the first year. For this reason, we want to make sure parents are feeling supported. NFLC provides respite nights for parents to get some time away for a date night or to run errands.
Also included in this program, volunteers provide homemade meals for families that can be picked up or delivered.
The great thing about this program, is it also involves the children as they enjoy the meal with their foster family or they enjoy time doing fun activities as a part of the respite night.
