Description
Through our George Shinn Foster Care Program, we partner with Tennessee's Department of Children's Services to provide certified foster families for children in state custody. We carefully select evangelical Christian couples to serve as foster parents, so children placed in their homes are cared for physically as well as spiritually. The program includes training, support, direction and advocacy for these homes by our qualified and dedicated Foster Care Case Managers.

Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes works with churches and other organizations to create a network of local resources in communities across the state through our Family Care Program. By connecting families to counseling services, parenting training, and other church ministries, we seek to change the trajectory of Tennessee families in need for the better.

Description
Through the TBCH Residential Care Program, children from hard places are provided with on-campus, Christ-centered homes when families cannot provide the care they need. Christian couples serve as houseparents in these family-style homes for up to eight resident children giving children a safe environment in which to thrive and be guided by biblical principles in making choices to positively affect their futures and those of their future generations.

| TBCH does not accept government funding and relies solely on the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses and foundations each year to assist the ministry in caring for Tennessee's children from hard places. TBCH uses its web site, newsletter, social media, fund raising events, grants, charitable giving funds, and volunteer opportunities to encourage volunteer service and financial donations for the care of Tennessee's children from hard places at TBCH. |
