Description
With a commitment to servicing the immediate needs of the community, the Emergency Financial Assistance Program provides client support for basic living expenses including rent, utilities and car payments; medical expenses; psychotherapy; and treatment for critical illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's disease. The program is the heart and soul of MusiCares. Emergency Financial Assistance funds enable us to be responsive where aid is needed most. Financial Assistance applications are always processed quickly. Clients are immediately notified about the available resources and approved grants are paid directly to a third party or creditor. With a thorough screening process, the Eligibility Committee is able to approve 96% of all applications. *Note: Program budget reflects all direct client services in Tennessee without affiliated staffing costs.

Healthy Essentials medical and dental clinics are the source for preventive or diagnostic services to those without healthcare coverage or the means to cover expenses. Workshops address a variety of subjects including financial, legal and substance abuse issues, as well as topics that resonate with industry professionals such as vocal and hearing health. Note: Program budget reflects workshop and clinic expenses in the TN region without affiliated staffing costs.
