Description
With 41 suites available at no charge, Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge provides cancer patients with temporary housing so that they can access their life saving outpatient cancer treatments at Nashville area treatment centers. This home-away-from-home eases both the financial and emotional stress of cancer patients and their caregivers. Each year, almost 1,000 cancer patients stay at the Hope Lodge and are provided over 11,000 nights of lodging. In a typical year, we also provide over 4,500 shuttle rides to treatment appointments. Hope Lodge is the only facility of its kind in the Nashville area exclusively dedicated to providing free lodging to adult cancer patients in active treatment. It also offers a community kitchen, patio, exercise room, library/resource center, day rooms, and laundry facilities. Funding is provided through generous community support of individuals, foundations and businesses.
